For the past five years I have been participating in an event that has become something I look forward to every summer. The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride is a worldwide event where riders of classic & modern classic motorcycles dapper up, ride & raise funds for mens prostate cancer & mental health awareness.
Traditionally I ride with the Chicago crew (one of the largest) but due to covid, this year we are riding solo(ish). Bummer.
In addition to the community, the ride & the fundraising, this event is one of my favorite to capture. Since we won’t have the city backdrop with hundreds of riders, I’ll have to get creative this year. Considering a ride to Milwaukee or the countryside to get those gritty Americana photos.
I realize times are tough, but if you can support, you can donate here.
On Sunday the 27th of September, I'm riding solo in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember.
Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
